How CastEngine works.
Everything you need to know about using the platform — whether you're an actor, crew member, creative, or producer.
Who can join CastEngine?＋
Anyone 18 or older working in film or TV — actors, crew, producers, and casting directors. Multiple roles per account are supported.
How does the CastEngine Score work?＋
You can only rate someone if you have a confirmed booking with them. Numeric scores are public; written reviews are private and never displayed.
Are video reels uploaded to the platform?＋
No. Reels are YouTube or Vimeo embed links. This keeps storage costs low and lets you use existing showreels.
What do the subscription plans cost?＋
Monthly is $12/mo, Annual is $9/mo billed as $108/year, and Production is $25/mo with unlimited casting calls and boards.
Can I cancel any time?＋
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. You retain access through the paid period.
Is my personal contact info visible to everyone?＋
No. Producers reach out via direct messages. Actor representation contact fields are public because those are agents' preferred contact points.
